1968 Lola Indy T150
In 1972 the car was acquired from the Vels Parnelli Jones team for George Eaton of the Eaton Department Stores family in Canada. Eaton ran the car several times in late 1971, but before the 1972 Indy 500 the family pulled the funding because of concerns that he might be injured or killed while running the Indy 500. The car was maintained for Eaton by the Fejer Brothers in Canada.
The car was then sold to Jim Hurtibise, who entered it in the 1973 Indy 500 with a turbo Ford / Foyt V8 and ran 184.237. The car did not make the race, because Hurtibise ran out of funding. It is also believed that the car ran other races in 1968 and 1969 with Al Unser Sr. and the Vels Parnelli Jones Team.
